UMm & UMw Monthly Meeting October 21
The UMW/UMM will hold their pot luck dinner at 6:30 p.m. with meetings to follow. The UMW are looking for some women who have never attended their dinner/meeting to join them. As you know they help with Mission work and things around the Church that are needed and are not in our Church budget. To earn this money they make the Easter eggs and I know all of you are familiar with them. And, in May they do a yard sale. Both of these are hard work, but it is very satisfying when they are able to help someone who wants to go on a Mission Trip or use the money for other things to glorify God’s name and to help someone in need. Please give us a try. We would love to see some new faces and hear some new ideas!

Sunday, November 23
The United Methodist Women will host our annual thanksgiving dinner to be held after the 11:00 a.m. worship service on November 23. Dessert donations will be greatly appreciated. We will have a sign-up sheet in the Narthex closer to the date for those who want to help with the serving and/or donating a dessert.

Christmas Gifts for Hands of Hope!
Each year we collect items for the Christmas celebration and this year we will once again begin our collection. The items this year include: 15 beauty baskets for teens; 15 basketballs; 15 board games 8-12 years; and 15 large Tonka trucks. Drop off boxes are located in the Narthex. Sunday, November 9 is the last day to bring these items.

Street ministry is something all ages can take part in and we would love to have you with us.  Join us on the third Saturday of every month.  Another way to help with this ministry is providing supplies.
