How do you eat an elephant?
Answer: ONE bite at a time!

You've probably heard that before so nothing new there.
This pandemic may look and feel like an elephant.
Too big, too much and it's overwhelming!
BUT not impossible!

Below is my recipe for eating elephants:
  • It takes a village - This cannot be done by a single or even a couple of people. It truly takes the entire body of Christ working together.
  • It takes a strategy - A clear plan of action is needed. Each person with his/her role working together with one goal in mind, eating the elephant.
  • It takes persistence - Can't never could is so true! With persistence comes trusting your team, sticking to the plan and plowing forward.
The days ahead may appear bigger than the days behind.
However, I have no doubt that we, Southview UMC, will get through this.
I have no doubt that the giants you are facing right now will be defeated in the name of Jesus!

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:9

It's Monday! Hang in there!
You got this!
